The Fancy Dress competition always attracts many entries and with great prizes on offer for this years winners and runners up this year is sure to be no exception. The categories for 2008 are:
Under 5’s
5 to 11
12 and over.
The theme for 2008 is “Under the Sea” but if you can’t think of anything don’t worry let your imagination take over and dress up in what you like. All entrants are encouraged to assemble on Meadowcroft from 12pm to take part in the parade which will set off along its new route at 12.30. The winners for each category will then be chosen in the main arena by the 2008 Gala Queen Alice McAvoy assisted by Phil Willis MP and the Mayor and Mayoress.
